Date and time

Step into spring with a hands-on flower‑growing experience designed to give you confidence, skills, and a head start on your garden. Our Seed Starting Class is a relaxed, beginner‑friendly workshop held right here at Estes Farm — complete with a mini farm tour, light refreshments and plenty of time to get your hands in the soil.

During this 90‑minute class, you’ll learn the exact methods we use on the farm to start strong, healthy seedlings. You’ll plant 8 different flower varieties, tuck in a coveted dahlia tuber, and take home additional seed packets to keep your garden growing. We provide all materials, including soil, trays, liners, humidity domes and tools.

Every participant also receives a custom Estes Farm planting notebook — filled with growing information for each variety you plant, plus space for your own notes as your garden takes shape.
